Bio

I became an attorney in 1979 having graduated undergraduate from the University of California, Irvine in 1975. I attended UNM law school in 1977. I was interested in defense of clients or companies. The 1980 prison riot occurred and I was practicing in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The Judges immediately appointed the young attorneys to represent prisoners who were charged with murder, rape and other crimes. This changed my perspective on the law and the rights of individuals. Being a native of Santa Fe, I had a small general practice. Due to my knowledge under fire with the prison riot, I was retained for many criminal cases and still have clients that became friends. I also practiced in workman’s compensation cases, divorces, land transactions, water rights for my ditch association and neighbors in Rio Arriba County, New Mexico. I was a lobbyist for a time for alcohol interests and bar owners. This was enjoyable until it wasn’t. Since moving to Albuquerque, I was married to a wonderful woman. Working for the Domenici Law Firm has broadened my insight and increased my civil law practice. I specialize in probate, transactions, civil disputes , condemnations, Cannabis licensing, corporation structuring administrative matters before the NMED, OSE, BLM, and with school systems. I enjoy the practice of law and do not see retirement in my near future.
